Terms of Use

The service

mySilva is a forest management platform. Forest owners add properties by cadastral number and see stand data from public registers, an indicative timber value, harvest readiness based on the legal felling age, illustrative projections, alerts and an AI assistant.

Companies use a workspace with members and roles, projects, work orders, price list imports, operator and driver phone apps, settlements, documents and FSC/EUDR evidence.

Features may change as the service develops.

Access and accounts

Access to the platform is by invitation only. You can request access on mysilva.lv. When you use an account, you agree to:

• give accurate and up-to-date information;
• keep your password safe and not share your account with anyone else;
• tell us straight away if you suspect someone has accessed your account.

Company workspaces

We verify company registration against the Enterprise Register. The company account owner is responsible for which members and partners are invited to the workspace, the roles and access they are given, and how they use the platform on the company’s behalf.

The company is responsible for having the right to enter its employees’, drivers’ and partners’ data on the platform and for making sure those people are informed about the processing.

Pricing and the pilot programme

The platform is free for forest owners.

Companies use the platform free of charge during the 2026 pilot programme. We may change the pilot terms or end the programme by giving at least 30 days’ notice. When it ends, a company may request an export of its data.

Information, not advice

The platform is an information tool. It does not provide legal, tax or forestry expert advice.

Timber values are indicative and are not a market offer. Harvest readiness is for information only and does not replace checking legal requirements or obtaining a felling permit. Projections are illustrative. Check the facts on the ground and, where needed, consult a professional before making decisions.

AI assistant

The AI assistant and the company assistant generate answers and proposals automatically using Google Gemini. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or wrong. Do not treat them as professional advice, and check anything important — in particular every proposal before you confirm it. You are responsible for the actions you confirm. Our Privacy Policy explains how data sent to the assistant is processed.

Your data

You keep all rights to the data you upload or enter on the platform. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that data only as far as needed to provide the service to you.

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

Public register data

The platform uses data from the State Forest Service, the State Land Service, the Latvian Geospatial Information Agency and the Enterprise Register. That data remains subject to the terms of its source. We are not responsible for the accuracy or currency of register data.

Acceptable use

When using the platform, you must not:

• scrape the platform or bulk-download register data;
• decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise try to obtain the platform’s source code;
• upload or share unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others;
• try to access other users’ data or accounts, or get around security measures;
• disrupt or overload the platform.

Intellectual property

The platform, its software, design and content (other than your data and public register data) belong to SIA “mySilva” or its licensors. These terms only give you the right to use the platform as intended.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but cannot guarantee it will run without interruption or errors. The platform may be briefly unavailable during maintenance. Where possible, we will announce planned maintenance in advance.

Liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from decisions made on the basis of indicative values, projections or AI assistant answers.

While the service is free, there is no liability cap based on fees paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending use of the service

You can stop using the platform and delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or stop providing the service after giving notice.

After an account is closed, data is deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We will notify you of changes to these terms by email or in the application at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you can stop using the platform and delete your account.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes that cannot be settled by negotiation will be heard by the courts of the Republic of Latvia in Riga. Consumers keep all protections given to them by mandatory consumer law.
